About Us

The Company was founded in 1968 by Richard St. Germain, P.E. under the name of A. Richard St. Germain Consulting Engineer.  A partnership was formed between Mr. St. Germain and Richard P. Aupperle III, P.E. in 2003 resulting in the formation of a new company called St. Germain & Aupperle Consulting Engineers, LLP.  In 2013 the firm re-structured and is now St. Germain & Aupperle Consulting Engineers, PLLC with Richard P. Aupperle III as its President.

 

St. Germain & Aupperle maintain an office at  – 5711 West Genesee Street, Camillus, New York and employ twelve (12) highly skilled professionals, five (5) of whom are licensed professional engineers.

Richard P. Aupperle III, P.E.

Richard P. Aupperle III, President and Senior Structural Engineer received a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and is a registered Professional Engineer in 11 states plus holds an N.C.E.E.S. National Registration.

 

Mr. Aupperle’s professional expertise includes more than 15 years of experience in the design of structural steel, wood, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and masonry building structures.  He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute, American Forest & Paper Association and American Institute of Steel Construction.

 

A. Richard St. Germain, P.E.

A. Richard St. Germain, founder received a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and Structures from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY.

 

Mr. St. Germain’s professional expertise includes more than 55 years of experience in the design of structural steel, wood, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete and masonry building structures. He remains active on a consultation basis.

 

Richard P. Aupperle, Jr., P.E.

Richard P. Aupplerle, Jr., Senior Structural Engineer received a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State.

 

Mr. Aupperle has been with St. Germain & Aupperle since 2006.  His professional expertise includes more than 41 years of experience in the design of structural steel, wood, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and masonry building structures.  He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.

 

Glen D. Meixell, P.E.

Glen D. Meixell, Senior Structural Engineer received a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Union College, Schenectady, NY and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State.

 

Mr. Meixell has been with St. Germain & Aupperle since 2004.  His professional expertise includes more than 19 years of experience in the design of structural steel, wood, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and masonry building structures.  He is a member of the American Concrete Institute.

 

Brian R. Byrnes, P.E.

Brian R. Byrnes, Structural Engineer received a B.S. Degree  in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Architecture from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State.

Mr. Byrnes has been with St. Germain & Aupperle since 2013.  His professional expertise includes more than eight (8) years of experience in the design of structural steel, wood, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and masonry building structures.  He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Structural Engineers Association of New York.

 

Anthony P. Fernando, P.E..

Anthony P. Fernando, Structural Engineer received a M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.  and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State.

 

Mr. Fernando has been with St. Germain & Aupperle since 2007.  His professional expertise includes more than 6 years of experience in structural analysis and design of structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures for residential and commercial building structures.  He is a member of the American Concrete Institute.

Luke F. Christiantelli, E.I.T.

Luke F. Christiantelli, Structural Engineer received a B.S. Degree in civil Engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y.

Mr. Christiantelli has been with St. Germain & Aupperle since 2013.  His professional experience includes more than 1 year in structural analysis and design of structural steel concrete, wood and masonry buildings.
